紐約 Nintendo World Store 在 6/11 (日) 凌晨開賣 Nintendo DS Lite (以下簡稱 NDSL)。
不少瘋狂粉絲從星期六下午就開始聚集排隊，也有人帶著 NDS 到場與現場的人連線對戰。還有甚至提早從婚禮跑出來、還穿著禮服的人，以及穿著瑪莉歐、路奇、林克服裝的 cosplayer，讓現場增添不少 "Nintendo World" 氣息。
美國的 NDSL 售價為 129.99 美元 (未稅)。另外，前 100 位在 Nintendo World Store 購得 NDSL 的人，可以免費獲得精美提袋收納包跟遊戲 Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day。
